Cheer Cadet was born from a dream—a dream that started with a little girl named Scarlet. From the moment Scarlet could express herself, she wanted to be a cheerleader. This year, at just six years old, she’s stepping into the world of competitive cheer for the first time. For our family, this is a completely new adventure. We’ve never had anyone in cheer before, so everything—every routine, every competition, every cheer bow—is a first for us.
As Scarlet’s parents, we quickly realized how overwhelming it can be to navigate this world. From figuring out what to pack for competitions to managing emotions during big events, there’s so much to learn. But in this journey, we saw a greater opportunity—not just for Scarlet, but for other athletes and their families.
We wanted to create something meaningful, something heart-centered, that would support young athletes in more ways than one. Cheer Cadet became our way to nurture emotional intelligence, spread positivity, and foster a sense of community.
Support & Love
We also needed a fundraiser for Scarlet to support her cheer journey. But instead of asking for sponsorships or handouts, we wanted to offer something valuable in return. As a family of entrepreneurs, we decided to turn this need into an opportunity—not just for Scarlet, but for others. Cheer Cadet was built to give families a way to raise money while providing resources to support new and seasoned cheerleaders alike.
Through this venture, Scarlet is learning far more than how to cheer. She’s learning how to sell a product, connect with people, and contribute to something bigger than herself. She’s discovering marketing, website design, and the fundamentals of leadership. This experience is shaping her into a well-rounded athlete, leader, and entrepreneur.
We envision Scarlet being in this sport for the next 10 years, and Cheer Cadet is a way to create something lasting—something that helps not just our family, but others who share this journey.
